Analytics, Cookie and Location Policy
The website presents a Consent to analytics flow for first-party audience analytics and approximate IP-derived location information. In this deployment, continuing to use the public website records those analytics and approximate network-location signals as described below.
Required cookies and identifiers
LiquidAssets.Auth supports authenticated portal sessions. Anti-forgery and security cookies protect forms and accounts. la_vid is a random browser identifier used to estimate unique visitors, and la_sid is a short-lived session identifier used to group visits. la_consent records that Consent to analytics was accepted.
Information measured
We may measure visited pages, referral source, UTM campaign values, browser name and version, device category and model, operating system, calls to action, scroll-depth milestones and page dwell time. The originating IP address may be stored and sent server-to-server to the configured IP-location provider to derive an approximate city, region, country and map coordinate.
IP-derived location is approximate. It may identify a network provider, proxy or VPN exit point rather than the visitor’s physical position.
Precise live location
After the visitor selects Accept analytics, the website immediately initiates the browser-controlled precise-location request. The browser may display its own permission prompt. If the visitor allows it, latitude, longitude, device-reported accuracy, current page and update time may be sent to the platform while sharing remains active.
If the visitor denies or blocks the browser permission, no precise or live coordinates are collected. Analytics and approximate IP-derived location remain active.
The website may request precise location from an active session after an authorised administrator initiates the request. When the browser permission was previously granted, sharing may resume without another browser prompt depending on the browser’s permission lifetime. When permission is denied, the application cannot override the browser, but it displays permission-recovery instructions and retries after the visitor changes this site’s Location permission to Ask or Allow.
Browser location control
Precise live-location updates continue only while the browser keeps the website session active and location permission remains available. The visitor can revoke location permission through the browser or operating-system site settings. This does not disable audience analytics or approximate IP-derived location.
Retention and access
Analytics, approximate location and precise live-location records are retained according to the approved retention schedule. Precise live-location records use a shorter retention period. Access to location details and exports is restricted to authorised SuperAdmin users and is subject to audit logging.
